The opportunityIn an increasingly complex and regulated environment, effective management of third-party and outsourcing risk is critical to operational resilience. Our client is strengthening its outsourcing and Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) capability and is looking to hire an Outsourcing Officer as a permanent member of staff .
This is a high-impact role sitting at the crossroads of regulation, risk, procurement, IT, and business operations. You will act as an independent control function, providing oversight, challenge, and assurance on outsourcing arrangements, while working closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation.The role is open to mid- to senior-level candidates who bring sound judgement, regulatory awareness, and the ability to translate complexity into clear, actionable insights.
Your role and responsibilitiesAs Outsourcing Officer, you will:Oversee and continuously monitor third-party and outsourcing arrangements, with a particular focus on critical and important functionsEnsure Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) requirements are embedded throughout the procurement and outsourcing lifecycleMonitor performance and risk indicators, including SLAs, KPIs, KRIs, concentration risk, exit and business continuity plansIdentify, assess, and escalate outsourcing-related risks and issues in a timely and proportionate mannerPrepare and deliver clear, high-quality reporting to internal committees, Senior Management, and supervisory authoritiesSupport regulatory interactions, audits, and inspections related to outsourcing and ICT third-party riskEnsure compliance with applicable regulatory and policy frameworks (e.g. EBA, DORA, GDPR, ICT outsourcing guidelines)Contribute to cross-functional initiatives aimed at strengthening governance, operational resilience, and process maturityAct as a trusted partner to Procurement, IT, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and the Business while maintaining independent judgement
Your profileWe are looking for a proactive and engaged professional with a strong interest in outsourcing and third-party risk.You bring:
A university degree and relevant professional experience in outsourcing, third-party risk, procurement risk, IT risk, compliance, or a related control functionA solid understanding of regulatory expectations in a financial services or other highly regulated environmentStrong analytical skills and the ability to form clear, balanced risk-based judgementsA structured, organised way of working and the ability to manage multiple topics in parallelConfidence in communicating with senior stakeholders and translating complex issues into clear messagesA hands-on mindset, curiosity, and willingness to learn and grow in a developing regulatory landscape
Nice to haveExperience with DORA / ICT outsourcing or operational resilience frameworksExposure to regulatory interactions, audits, or supervisory reportingTrilingual skills ( Dutch, French, English )
