Mission and key tasks
Puratos is looking for an intern to join the R&D Bakery Improvers team, responsible for the development of innovative products in the fast growing category of breads.
The objective is to work on clean label ingredients.
As part of the innovation team developing, you will be in charge of:
* Literature review;
* Finding all potential ingredients available on the market, contacting suppliers and collecting samples;
* Proposing, organizing and carrying out baking trials (after a complete training on bread making);
* Evaluating quality of final products, writing trial reports and analyzing results;
* If needed, working in collaboration with our sensory analysis team to test best results with our internal sensory panel.
Who are we looking for ?
* You are currently in your 2nd year of Master's degree in Food Science/Technology or looking for a professional experience during your gap year;
* You are dynamic, hands-on and proactive;
* You have good communication, presentation, planning and organization skills;
* You're sincerely interested in the bakery world;
* An experience in the bakery industry is a plus;
* You are fluent in English.
