The JobAs a Senior Accountant, you are responsible for the financial administration, closing and compliance of one or more entities, ensuring reliable and transparent reporting towards the group.Your responsibilities include:Owning and managing the closing process, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timeliness Maintaining and controlling the general ledger, including accruals, journal entries and reconciliations Ensuring local compliance, including VAT returns and statutory requirements Aligning local financials with group reporting, ensuring consistency and transparency Preparing audit documentation and supporting external audits Managing intercompany reconciliations and ensuring correct application of accounting policies Identifying and driving improvements in financial processes and SAP systems Supporting and guiding finance team members, while acting as a sparring partner to the CFO and Group Controller 3. Your ProfileMust-havesBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance or a related field 3–5 years of experience in accounting, finance or controlling Strong experience with monthly closings and balance sheet management Solid understanding of accounting principles and compliance Fluency in Dutch, English and FrenchNice-to-havesExperience with SAP S/4HANA (Public Cloud) Exposure to audit processes Experience in a group reporting or consolidation environment Mindset & soft skillsHands-on, pragmatic and solution-oriented Strong analytical skills with attention to detail Ability to take ownership and work independently Clear communicator and collaborative team player Comfortable in a dynamic and growing organization 4.
