The Customer Service Representative is responsible for end-to-end order management within Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).This role serves as the primary operational link between customers, sales, warehouse operations and finance by ensuring accurate customer setup, order processing, pick ticket generation and timely order closure.
Key Responsibilities:Customer Setup and MaintenanceCreate and maintain customer records in D365, including addresses, contact information, delivery terms, payment terms, tax status and pricingValidate customer master data to ensure compliance with internal controls and operational requirementsCoordinate with Sales and Finance to resolve customer setup discrepancies and/or approval requirements
Order ManagementEnter and process sales order in D365 following company policiesReview orders for accuracy, including item numbers, quantities, pricing, shipping instructions and requested delivery datesMonitor order status and address issues related to inventory availability, holds, or system exceptions.
Pick Ticket Generation and Logistics SupportGenerate and release pick tickets in D365 to support logistics in the pick/pack/ship activitiesCoordinate with warehouse or 3PL partners to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on timeCollaborate with Logistics and Supply Chain teams to resolve discrepancies in orders
Order Closure and DocumentationConfirm shipment completion and close sales orders in D365 once order has been shippedSupport invoicing accuracy by ensuring orders are properly closed and ready for billing
Customer CommunicationServe as a point of contact for order-related customer inquiriesCommunicate order status, delays, or changes in a timely and professional mannerDocument issues, resolutions, and customer interactions
Role Requirements:Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related disciplineMinimum of 3+ years of experience in order management, customer service, or related operational roles
