We are seeking an experienced Freelance Test Engineer to support a critical billing project within a leading Belgian infrastructure organisation. This role is central to ensuring the accuracy and reliability of systems used to invoice operational activities across a large-scale network.

Key Responsibilities:Quickly understand the organisation's in-house billing system and related operational processesAnalyse invoicing rules and business logicCreate, maintain, and execute test plans and scenariosAnalyse results and log defects in ALM (HP Quality Center)Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure smooth validationAct as a key contact for Dutch-speaking stakeholdersContribute to QA processes within an Agile/Scrum environment
Ideal Candidate:Experience as a Test Engineer in Agile/Scrum environmentsStrong skills in test planning and scenario creationExperience with test tools (ALM preferred)ISTQB certification (mandatory)Analytical, detail-oriented, and solution-drivenStrong communication and collaboration skillsAble to quickly understand complex systems
Desirable:Experience with UFT or SeleniumBasic knowledge of Jenkins, Docker, or GitFamiliarity with ALMExperience with billing systems, public sector, or large-scale operational environments
