We are looking for a Senior Demand Planning Lead with strong analytical capabilities, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to influence across complex, matrixed environments, to join our Global Supply Chain team at UCB based at our campus located in Belgium Braine-L'alleud
About the role
In this highly visible and strategic role, you will be responsible for leading demand planning processes across a global product portfolio, including commercialized products, lifecycle transitions, and new product launches.
You’ll lead and consolidate the mid-term demand plan by combining statistical forecasting with business insights and translate those into planning scenarios within OMP. You will be instrumental in improving forecast accuracy, strengthening cross-functional alignment, and contributing to key planning forums including S&OE, S&OP, and financial cycles.

You’ll partner closely with:
1. Market Supply Organizations (MSOs), Finance Forecasting teams.
2. Supply Network Operations Team, Asset Supply Planning Leads, Brand Supply Leads, and Global Customer Service (GCS)
What you will do:
3. Lead the demand planning cycle for a defined global product portfolio, including launches and LoEs
4. Consolidate the mid-term forecast using statistical models, business inputs, and OMP
5. Identify upside/downside risks in the demand plan and propose mitigation scenarios
6. Drive integration of demand assumptions into planning cycles: S&OE, S&OP, and financial planning
7. Track and report forecast KPIs (accuracy, BIAS, risk drivers, etc.)
8. Facilitate Demand Review Meetings and drive cross-functional consensus
9. Support local/regional teams in pre-demand forums and SIOP cycles; act as a coach to MSOs
10. Influence global alignment on demand assumptions through structured governance and forums
11. Support continuous improvement of planning systems (OMP upgrades, process harmonization)
12. Collaborate with GCS to improve TPA forecast accuracy
Minimum qualifications:
13. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
14. 10+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management, ideally in a global and regulated environment (e.g., pharma, FMCG)
15. Strong understanding of IBP, S&OE, S&OP, and related planning frameworks
16. Hands-on experience with planning systems such as OMP, SAP, or Anaplan
17. Certification in APICS, or equivalent is a strong asset
18. Proven experience influencing stakeholders and facilitating cross-regional processes
19. Strong analytical and communication skills; able to synthesize complexity and drive action
20. Fluent in English (written and verbal); other languages are a plus
