Location: Anderlecht/BraineLanguages: English and FrenchEmployment Type: FreelanceStart Date: ASAPContext of the mission/objective(s) of the jobMission within client's Vision program, a major supply chain initiative focused on identifying and managing critical business data elements to improve process efficiency and business operations.Team is responsible for establishing data governance and management practices, onboarding top management, developing procedures and training, and implementing data governance within the organization.The project involves setting up data quality rules for ~700 business terms, each requiring 2-5 business rules to be coded and automated.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand business quality standards and translate them to technical data quality requirementsAnalyze the data to identify existing patterns / data quality rulesDevelop and test data quality rules in mainly in SQL (also Python)Communicate and report data quality metrics, namely in Power BIDocument data quality requirements and support business quality definition in CollibraAdvocate for data quality good practicesSupport business stakeholders to use the data quality tools, and to leverage them to improve the quality of their data.RequirementsYears of Experience: 3-8 yearsMust have:Strong proficiency in SQL (Oracle flavor)Experience in data management and programming (minimum 1-2 years)Ability to translate business rules into technical codeAutonomy and initiativeAnalytical thinking and meticulous organizationIdeal candidate:Experience in supply chain data and/or pharmaceutical industryExperience with data governance and managementExcellent communication skills, able to simplify complex messagesAbility to work independently and understand business processesNice to have:Python programming skillsExperience with Collibra for data governance documentationPower BI for reportingExperience with GxP regulations and validation processesWritten and spoken FrenchLanguage requirements:Written English requiredFrench is a strong plus (preferred for stakeholder interactions, but not strictly mandatory)Homeworking policyHybrid: 2 days on-site, 3 days remoteFull time
