Technology engineer - Measurement and lab systems
Your role
As a Technology Engineer within the Dryer Media Incubator team, you will have the unique opportunity to make a direct impact on the future of adsorption materials and processes. You will build in-depth expertise in innovative and reliable measurement methods that elevate the R&D team to the next level, working closely with product developers, external partners, and R&D and production teams to ensure accurate, reliable, and compliant analyses.
Responsibilities
You will take the lead in developing, validating, and standardizing measurement methods for material and application testing. By translating measurement data into clear, actionable insights, you will drive process and material improvements. You will support R&D by conducting experiments, handling service requests, ensuring accurate reporting, and interpreting results. Through active knowledge sharing and continuous improvement, you will strengthen the company’s expertise in materials research and build a robust, future-oriented portfolio.
Qualifications
* A Master’s degree in Materials or Chemical Engineering or a related technical-scientific field. A PhD is a plus.
* Experience with measurement techniques, laboratory processes, or R&D environments is a must.
* Proactive mindset with a drive for innovation and continuous improvement.
* Comfortable with digital tools and data analysis.
* Fluently express yourself in Dutch and English.

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to divide your time between remote work and on‑site work at the Atlas Copco Airpower location in Wilrijk, Antwerp, Belgium (BE).
