1. You have a PhD in biomedical or engineering sciences and a strong affinity with movement and rehabilitation sciences.
2. You are proficient in programming in Matlab and, if possible, Python.
3. You have experience in using 3D motion capture equipment for biomechanical analysis of movement.
4. You have experience with OpenSim for biomechanical analysis of movement.
5. Experience with image-based modeling or ultrasound is an added value.
6. You have experience in analyzing and interpreting biomechanical data.
7. You have experience in education.
8. You have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, you have organizational talent, and you are good at coordinating.
9. You are enterprising and you respect deadlines.
10. You find working within an (international) team of researchers an attractive challenge that you are keen to take on.
11. You are fluent in written and spoken English, preferably with knowledge of Dutch
12. You will support doctoral students in setting up measurement protocols within the motion analysis lab. In addition, you will assist in training new researchers within the research group.
13. You will provide support in processing data generated from 3D motion capture techniques and medical imaging.
14. You will provide support for multi-body simulations.
15. You will assist in writing and setting up research projects within the Human Movement Biomechanics research group.
16. You will be responsible for coordinating the educational tasks within the Human Movement Biomechanics research group.
17. You will provide administrative and technical support for activities within the research group.
In the Human Movement Biomechanics group, we aim to personalize and optimize rehabilitation and training by identifying movement-related biomarkers that help in the stratification of patients or athletes and optimization of treatment and training.
We offer a part-time position for a fixed term of two years. The employment rate can be discussed by mutual agreement.
