Description
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Automatic Distribution Center in Ninove.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of the material handling installations and keeping installation downtime to a minimum.
You will work in a large team, sharing responsibility for the continuous improvement of the operations in a KPI-installation..
Responsibilities:
* Ensure the availability of the material handling installations
* Keep installation downtime to a minimum
* Implement an action plan with colleagues to ensure proper functioning of the installation
* Solve electrical and mechanical issues according to Dematic standard
* Use PC, software tools (DIQ, MS office, CMMS, technical programming software)
* Read and interpret electrical and/or mechanical drawings
* Use special tools for troubleshooting
* Perform technical cleaning
* Store removed products on designated places
* Guide technical operators
* Work according to safety regulations

Profile
* Knowledge and experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Familiarity with PC and software tools (DIQ, MS office, CMMS, technical programming software)
* Ability to work in a team
* Good communication skills, on the workfloor we communicate in Dutch OR English.
* Attention to detail
* Commitment to safety regulations
* Technical degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
* Experience in maintenance of material handling installations
