As Senior Functional Support/ Information Analyst of Enterprise systems Benelux you will work directly with our internal customers to provide application support for the company's enterprise systems landscape.
You are the link between the demand from the business and the supply of one or more ICT suppliers. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional that can operate in a diverse and fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
As Senior Functional Support employee of Enterprise systems you are responsible for a stable production environment of BackOffice applications and especially the SAP FICO module. You are responsible that issues are solved according to agreed SLA times, you will;
* Reproduce errors, issues and/or bugs as a part of issue investigation to determine whether the issue is a product issue or an enhancement request and propose solutions within the SLA guidelines;
* Monitor the daily production process flows;
* Consult fellow functional support employees about improvements and adjustments in the process and application landscape and submit 'Change Requests' based on this;
* Analyze standard user requests and prepare reports for further analysis by end-users;
* Indicate priority in the issues to be dealt with on the basis of necessity, desirability and costs;
* Coordinate maintenance releases. Ensure correct prioritization of the bug fixes to be scheduled and arrange communication (including announcements and release notes) about the maintenance releas;
* Make proposals for changes to the functionality in the landscape to Team Manager and fellow functional support employees;
* Explore the possibilities of the application and keep track of market development;
* Work with other departments to produce and maintain technical, user, and training material in accordance with the company's documentation standards.
As Senior Information Analyst in an Agile development environment, you will be responsible for supporting the business to implement the right changes on time and at the lowest possible cost to support end users in their daily processes. You will ensure the implementation of adjustments to the application landscape within the Finance area, so that the continuity, consistency, and quality of the application landscape is guaranteed. All the while doing this in the most cost-efficient way possible.
Also you will;
* Support users with their questions and configuration requests;
* Perform the intake of 'Change Requests' and translate the desired changes into requirements, specifications or solutions and record these in the agreed deliverables;
* Uses business / process experience and system knowledge to analyze complex processes and improve them coherently, so that the entire chain benefits;
* Indicates the priorities in the requests to be handled on the basis of necessity, desirability and costs;
* Analyzes business processes / bottlenecks and models new business processes;
* Ensure the implementation of these solutions, including the associated adjustments in the (functional) documentation;
* Take care of the testing and acceptance of new or changed functionalities within the subject area;
* Instruct your fellow functional and application support employees and key-users in the use of the new or changed functionality;
* Take initiatives to simplify and optimize processes and procedures;
* Coordinate the implementation of software on acceptance and production environments with external developers;
* Explores the possibilities to realize innovations together with other business units within the existing plans (roadmaps);
* Advises on projects and releases and guarantees the delivery of business requirements during the project or release;
* Ensures concrete change and improvement of business processes, with or without the support of information technology;
* Is responsible and point of contact for the integration of various systems and the associated processes.
Job Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field.
Experience: Minimum 6+ years of broad IT experience, including 5 years as functional support, information analyst, or business analyst supporting multiple systems such as SAP and Salesforce.
* Strong knowledge of change processes, best practices and methodologies;
* Experience in data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities;
* Excellent listening, presentation, and interpersonal skills with attention to details;
* Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment demonstrating strong teamwork and interpersonal skills;
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and experience including presentations to senior management, peer groups and associates;
* Strong understanding of project life cycle methodology and procedures;
* Ability to conduct business requirement workshops for key stake holders including scheduling, planning agendas, conferring with business line leaders, documenting and making verbal and written presentations;
* Demonstrated on-time and on-budget system delivery skills and experience;
* Fluent in Dutch and English.
Preferred:
* Experience with SAP FICO in ECC and/or S4/HANA
* Experience with SOD/SOX controls, Security roles
* Certification: ASL/BiSL or ITIL certification
