For our site in Grimbergen, Equans is looking for an Oven Operator.
What will you do as an Oven Operator at Equans?
1. along with your colleagues you are responsible for operating the various ovens, loading and unloading these ovens, and meticulously documenting the activities you perform
2. when programming the annealing cycles, you follow the work instructions very closely, and any issues are immediately reported by you
3. moving heavy loads with an overhead crane does not intimidate you
4. you keep the workplace clean and replace heat-resistant seals and thermocouples when necessary
5. you work in a two-shift system (very occasionally in three shifts)
6. naturally, you will be trained to become an independent oven operator
What do you need?
7. ideally, you have a technical diploma
8. if you have a valid VCA certificate, this is definitely an asset
9. you have experience in working with an overhead crane, or you are not afraid to learn
10. preferably, you have work experience in a process environment
11. you work meticulously and according to the applicable procedures
12. you have a sense of responsibility
13. you have good spatial awareness
14. you are flexible regarding the two- or three-shift system
