We are looking for a Global Communications Manager who is collaborative and driven to join us in our Global Corporate Communications team, based in our Brussels office in Belgium.
About the role
You will be working in a team that helps shape UCB’s global voice across immunology and neurology. This hands-on role focuses on executing communication strategies for both launched and pipeline products, driving disease awareness, and amplifying UCB’s corporate initiatives across internal and external channels.
Who you’ll work with
You’ll be part of a high-performing and cross-functional team, collaborating closely with global, regional, and local colleagues across Commercial, Medical, Regulatory, Marketing, and Market Access. You’ll also liaise with media, agencies, and internal teams to ensure clear, consistent, and aligned communications.
What you’ll do
1. Support and deliver global communication strategies aligned with brand and corporate priorities
2. Create high-impact communication materials including campaign assets, press releases and internal content
3. Partner with media and manage outreach and social media integration
4. Lead internal review processes and ensure content meets all compliance standards
5. Monitor industry trends and identify risks, supporting issue and reputation management
6. Manage project timelines, budgets, and agency relationships with accountability
Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills
7. Bachelor’s degree
8. 5+ years of experience in healthcare or pharma communications, preferably in a communications agency
9. Strong writing and messaging skills for internal, media, and external stakeholders
10. Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
11. Experience working in cross-functional, international teams
12. Skilled in budget management and measuring communication effectiveness
