What can you expect as a Junior Business applications Consultant?
As a Junior Consultant within our Platforms team (Zaventem or Antwerp) you will assist customers in their technology led business transformation projects. For KPMG these transformations are end to end involving everything from the business/technology strategy up to and including the actual implementation of the chosen IT components in one of our 3 main technology platforms (Microsoft, SAP and ServiceNow). As a platform team member, you will focus on the actual implementation of the platform and this in one of the functional domains of Finance, Logistics, Operations, Sales, marketing.
Your main focus will be:
1. Guide customers in the determination of their IT strategy and IT target operating model and the actual roll-out of this strategy within the organization;
2. Help define the infrastructure and application architecture (blueprint) for the transformation of the IT systems of the customer (move to cloud, new ERP system ...);
3. Support creation of functional designs, implementations and configuration of the cloud based systems;
4. Help write test scenarios and execute functional and acceptance testing;
5. Assist in setting up the (Agile) portfolio, program, and project management structures to support the management and control of large end to end technology led transformations;
6. Assist in the Quality Assurance component of large scale transformations in topics as peer reviews, risk assessments, issue assessments …

Skills & Qualifications
7. You hold a master’s degree preferably in economics, engineering or informatics;
8. You can work independently, as well as in project teams and take ownership and responsibility;
9. You are fluent in Dutch & English, French is a plus;
10. Knowledge of SAP and/or Microsoft;
11. Certification in Prince2, PMP, Scrum/Agile or other project management tracks is considered an advantage;
12. Candidates should have an interest in artificial intelligence and its applications. A curiosity about AI technologies will be beneficial for this role.
