Place: Olen, Belgium
Type: Full-time, hybrid
Level: Mid level

You will make an impact in the following way:

1. Evaluate purchase requests and prepare purchase orders.
2. Send purchase orders and material forecasts to suppliers.
3. Follow up on delivery confirmations and update the ERP system accordingly.
4. Maintain close contact with suppliers and ensure timely transportation of materials.
5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Operations Planners, Production Managers, and Project Managers, to ensure smooth manufacturing processes.

What you will bring:

1. A Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management/Logistics or a Bachelor’s degree with relevant experience.
2. At least 5 years of experience in an initial buyer role.
3. ERP knowledge (MS Navision/NAV or SAP) and strong MS Office skills.
4. Fluency in Dutch and English, with excellent communication skills.
5. An assertive mindset and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
6. Basic understanding of mechanical and electronic products is a plus.
