About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Migration Testing Manager to lead and oversee the data migration testing efforts for a large-scale SAP transformation project. This role is critical to ensuring that all data migration activities — from extraction to validation — are executed with precision and align with business continuity requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Design and manage end-to-end migration testing strategies, ensuring full coverage of business and technical scenarios
Coordinate with functional, technical, and data migration teams to align test cases and execution plans
Lead the development of test scripts, data validation plans, and reconciliation procedures
Oversee the execution of migration test cycles including mock runs, SIT, UAT, and go-live validation
Track and manage issues, risks, and defects related to data quality and migration accuracy
Ensure clear documentation of test evidence, sign-offs, and audit readiness
Act as a liaison between project stakeholders to communicate test status, issues, and readiness
Support cutover planning and post-migration validation
Requirements
8+ years of overall SAP project experience, with at least 3+ years focused on SAP data migration testing
Strong knowledge of SAP data structures, business processes, and data objects
Proven experience with data migration tools (e.g., SAP BODS, LTMC, LSMW) and testing tools
Hands-on experience in test management tools such as HP ALM, JIRA, TestRail, etc.
Ability to design complex validation logic, perform reconciliations, and manage data quality issues
Excellent coordination, reporting, and stakeholder management skills
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
PMP, ISTQB, or similar certification is a plus
