Translate functional specifications and designs into high-quality technical program structures.
Set up and optimize CI/CD pipelines and automated workflows for core financial applications.
Develop, test, and document backend changes while ensuring seamless integration with interfacing systems.
Conduct thorough self and peer code reviews to maintain high quality and security standards.
Perform technical integration testing and manage the resolution of incidents and defects.
Provide technical support and maintenance, including performance tuning and release management.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT experts to implement qualitative software solutions.
Requirements
You have 5+ years of experience in backend software development and technical design.
You possess 5+ years of experience with object-oriented programming using Java or C++ .
You have experience with Linux environments and Shell scripting .
You bring experience with version control tools such as GitHub or BitBucket .
You possess strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving in an Agile environment.
You are fluent in English with a preference for Dutch .
Nice to Haves
Experience with SQL and PostgreSQL databases.
Knowledge of Python scripting.
Prior experience within Financial Markets or dealing room environments.
Familiarity with the Murex application.
