Job Title: Business Analyst – Data Migration (Logistics)

Location: Brussels, Brussels Region, Belgium
Overview: Our client, a leading logistics company, is embarking on a greenfield Data initiative and is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to bridge the gap between technical and business stakeholders. The successful candidate will play a key role in defining and capturing business requirements, improving stakeholder collaboration, and supporting the delivery of a scalable and future-proof data platform.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to gather, document, and validate business requirements.
Support the Data program by helping business teams articulate and prioritise their data and reporting needs.
Facilitate workshops and interviews to extract and translate business requirements into clear, actionable user stories.
Work closely with data engineers, architects, and analysts to ensure requirements are accurately implemented and aligned with the overall data strategy.
Contribute to improving stakeholder maturity by training and coaching business users on effective requirement gathering and communication practices.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives) and ensure deliverables meet the agreed acceptance criteria.
Ensure alignment between the data warehouse roadmap and business priorities.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Business Analyst in data-driven projects (preferably in Data or BI environments).
Solid understanding and practical experience working in Agile methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to work with technical stakeholders (data engineers, architects, developers) to clarify and translate business needs.
Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to train and coach business teams on requirement elicitation.
Fluent in French (spoken and written); English proficiency is a plus.
Prior experience working with data teams is essential.

On-site requirement: 2 days per week in Brussels; remote for the remainder.
