For a client in the Kortrijk region, we are looking for a Maintenance Manager. In this role, you are responsible for the full organization and supervision of both preventive and corrective maintenance of the buildings as well as a highly automated and high-tech machinery park.
You combine technical expertise with strong leadership skills and actively contribute to building an efficient, reliable, and high-performing production environment. In addition, you play a key role in optimizing maintenance processes and driving continuous improvement.

ROLE
* Responsible for the planning and organization of preventive and corrective maintenance
* Manage the maintenance budget and formulate investment proposals
* Initiate and implement improvement projects on production lines
* Lead, coach, and develop a team of maintenance technicians (internal and external)
* Monitor team competencies and ensure optimal efficiency within the department
* Provide technical support in case of complex breakdowns and emergency situations
* Analyze electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic failures and implement structural solutions
* Ensure that the machinery meets all quality and safety standards
PROFILE
* Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (preferably industrial engineering or electromechanics) or equivalent through experience
* Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience within maintenance and engineering, including team leadership
* Strong technical knowledge with a hands-on mindset
* Experienced people manager who can motivate, coach, and develop a team
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Fluent in Dutch, French, and English
