Production Line Efficiency Specialist
The role of a Production Line Efficiency Specialist is to implement strategies and methods that improve the efficiency and reliability of fully automated production lines. This involves working closely with technicians, analyzing problems, and devising solutions in an automated production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Defining and implementing maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods to improve production line reliability and uptime.
* Ensuring routine maintenance is performed promptly and responding swiftly to equipment failures.
* Working with automation equipment such as PLCs, HMIs, robots, and drives to identify spare parts requirements and oversee their procurement.
* Analyzing problems and devising solutions in an automated production environment.
* Collaborating closely with technicians to provide necessary training and enhance their proficiency.
* Oversight and monitoring of maintenance costs, prioritizing both scheduled and unscheduled repairs, and supporting initiatives to improve health, safety, and environmental protocols.
* Participation in continuous improvement activities is integral to this role.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field.
* Experience with robots, specifically Kuka and ABB.
* At least initial experience as an automation engineer in maintenance.
* Experience in the automotive or glass industry is considered a plus but not a requirement.
* Familiarity with safety regulations and consideration of them as high priority.
* A flexible mindset and a willingness to learn or implement new techniques.
* The ability to collaborate with colleagues from various departments.
* Knowledge of PLC programming and the ability to make adjustments as needed.
* A hands-on attitude and a strong presence in the production department.
