Our client is looking for a Senior IT Project Manager – SAP Technical Projects to support a major SAP transformation and post-migration stabilization program following the move to SAP S/4HANA.
The mission focuses on structuring, planning and delivering several technical SAP workstreams aimed at modernizing the SAP landscape, reducing technical debt and securing the future foundations of the SAP ecosystem.
The projects may include the migration from SAP PI/PO to SAP CPI / Integration Suite, the modernization of Fiori Launchpad towards SAP BTP, technical topics related to RISE / ECS, SAP landscape and connectivity topics, as well as the preparation of the transition to RUN and AMS teams.
The Senior IT Project Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of SAP technical projects and ensuring their successful execution from scoping to operational handover.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, constraints and dependencies.
2. Structure technical SAP initiatives into clear work packages.
3. Build and maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies and estimated workloads.
4. Coordinate internal and external teams, including SAP, architecture, infrastructure, security, IAM, AMS, partners and business stakeholders.
5. Manage the migration stream from SAP PI/PO to SAP CPI / Integration Suite.
6. Coordinate the inventory, categorization, prioritization and migration planning of interfaces.
7. Manage the modernization of Fiori Launchpad towards SAP BTP / Work Zone / Launchpad Service.
8. Follow up on SAP landscape, connectivity and platform topics, including RISE / ECS, certificates, endpoints, reverse proxy, Web Dispatcher, firewall, ports and DNS.
9. Track risks, issues, decisions, dependencies, budget and planning.
10. Prepare clear reporting and decision-making materials for IT management.
11. Ensure proper preparation for RUN / AMS transition, including documentation, support procedures, monitoring, access management, hypercare and rollback planning.
The role requires the ability to understand SAP technical topics without necessarily being a SAP architect, while being able to challenge planning assumptions, identify dependencies and secure project execution.
You have the following skills
12. Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in IT project management.
13. Strong experience in technical SAP projects.
14. Experience in complex and multi-system SAP environments.
15. Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA transformation contexts.
16. Experience with SAP Integration / PI / PO / CPI / Integration Suite.
17. Experience with SAP BTP, Fiori Launchpad, Work Zone or Launchpad Service is a strong plus.
18. Good understanding of SAP technical architecture, connectivity, security, IAM and infrastructure topics.
19. Strong experience in project governance, planning, budget follow-up, risk management and executive reporting.
20. Experience coordinating SAP suppliers, integrators and internal IT teams.
21. Strong stakeholder management and dependency management skills.
22. Experience with test, cutover and service transition / AMS preparation.
23. Certification in project management is a plus.
24. Degree in IT is a plus.
25. Languages: Dutch or French native/bilingual, with professional working proficiency in English.
26. Ability to work onsite 2 to 3 days per week.
