A cutting-edge aerospace technology company is seeking a Embedded Software Engineer – Ingeniero/a de Software Embebido to join its growing engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced embedded software professional to work on disruptive space technology for the next generation of satellites and space systems.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the development, integration, and testing of embedded firmware and real-time communication systems. From low-level MCU programming to transceiver integration and protocol optimization, this role offers hands-on involvement in the entire software-hardware lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain embedded software in C and C++ for a range of microcontrollers (ARM, STM32, ESP32, PIC).
* Design, implement, and debug real-time systems using RTOS.
* Integrate and configure communication modules, transceivers, and protocols (SPI, UART, I2C).
* Manage data buffers, link synchronization, and protocol layers in embedded networks.
* Collaborate closely with hardware teams and interpret electrical schematics.
* Utilize tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters for system diagnostics.
* Contribute to modular, structured, and maintainable firmware design.
* Use Git for version control and maintain clear, professional documentation.
Requirements:
* Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience in embedded software and firmware development.
* Strong proficiency in C and C++ programming for low-level environments.
* Hands-on experience with microcontrollers and hardware architectures.
* Knowledge of real-time systems and debugging tools.
* Familiarity with Linux systems and network communication layers is an advantage.
* Ability to read and understand electronic schematics.
* Technical English proficiency (intermediate to advanced).
