System Support Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
* We are seeking a highly skilled System Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our users.
In this role, you will be tasked with diagnosing and resolving incidents by remotely accessing systems or providing on-site support. You will also assist, inform, and train users to enhance their overall IT experience.
The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Windows Domain (Active Directory) environments. Hands-on experience with Linux-based systems is also required. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other office productivity tools is essential.
You will be skilled in hardware troubleshooting and workstation setup. Understanding of networking concepts, including VLANs and switch configuration, is necessary. The ability to communicate effectively with users and deliver training when needed is crucial.
Apart from the technical skills, we expect our ideal candidate to be proficient in PowerShell scripting and familiar with ITIL principles and best practices. Experience using ITSM platforms for ticket and incident management is also desirable.
