Job Profile Market Access Manager - BeLux Main Purpose of Job: Develop and implement market access strategies and provide technical expertise in Health Technology Appraisal submissions Build and maintain relationships with health economic and other relevant opinion leaders as well as reimbursement agencies Work in collaboration with Senior Manager VA to understand, implement and where possible influence policies to create optimal business environment for Amgen products Responsible for adopting the European market access materials (e.g. global value dossiers, cost-effectiveness models, budget impact models) and adapt them to local needs Provide - in close collaboration with marketing, medical, and sales colleagues - support and guidance to field based activities Main Tasks and Responsibilities: As Market Access Manager, you will be part of the Value & Access (VA) Team and reporting to the Senior Manager VA, you will take primary responsibility for reimbursement of a selection of Amgen products in Belgium & Luxembourg. Responsibilities: Initiate the most effective and timely strategy to obtain market access for products in Belgium & Luxembourg by managing timely preparation, submission and follow-up of pricing and reimbursement files Propose and implement the agreed local market access strategy until reimbursement publication and during the life cycle of the product by working closely with R&D, Medical, Marketing & Sales to secure broad product access for Amgen's new and existing product portfolio Take leadership of Health Technology Appraisal (HTAs) in Belgium and Luxembourg in close collaboration with Medical and Marketing colleagues Value evidence generation in scope of dossiers and publications Collect local cost data for the customization of cost effectiveness models Adapt budget impact models for local decision makers Map local payers and access influencing networks Develop & roll out an engagement strategy with key payers and other relevant opinion leaders (e.g. advisory boards, stakeholders summit meeting) to support market access activities Support reimbursement/pricing negotiations with payers Provide input for local requirements in the international value dossier & payer plan Keep EU and global colleagues informed about and seek support on all ongoing submissions Liaise with EU and global colleagues to create a strong relationship and defend the BeLux interest Profile: Qualifications Degree in Science with a good sense of business understanding 5 years of industry-relevant experience in Healthcare environment Solid project management skills for multiple tasks/projects/priorities and complex issues to propose innovative solutions Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Dutch since all submissions need to be done in the Dutch language. In addition good verbal communication skills in English & French Strong cross-functional leadership within the organization and ability to drive and influence peers in complex (matrix) organization Ability to steer the team towards objectives and hold peers highly motivated Value-based negotiation skills and convincing communication style Preferred Requirements A degree or experience in Health Economics would be an advantage.
