Security Engineer – NRB

Job description – Passionate about operational security, managing complex cybersecurity projects, and working closely with clients, you will have a direct impact on improving our clients’ defense strategies and face daily technical challenges.

Mission – Design and deploy tools and processes that help clients proactively manage their IT security. Analyze their specific needs and contribute to tailor‑made solutions. Balance client expectations, technical constraints, budget, and security standards compliance.
Core responsibilities:
* Manage security incidents: resolve incidents, analyze logs, monitor tools, and manage the SIEM.
* Analyze vulnerabilities and track remediation actions.
* Identify client needs, perform technical or functional analysis, and ensure proposed features match requirements.
* Participate in the creation, execution, and monitoring of projects; provide post‑implementation support.
* Report activities: analyze KPI, create reports.
* Become a reference point on various cybersecurity topics.

Profile
* Degree or master in IT focused on cybersecurity or equivalent.
* Solid experience as a security engineer.
* Strong project management, task organization, delegation and client communication skills.
* Good English knowledge, Dutch is an advantage.
* Ideal: knowledge of SDLC methodologies and experience with SonarQube / SonarCloud.
* Determined, rigorous, and structured.
* Team player who values collaboration.
* Autonomous, organized, and able to prioritize tasks.
