ERP Solution Architect (m/f/x)

Job Purpose
As an experienced ERP Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of enterprise systems within the Architecture Office team. You will align business needs with ERP capabilities, design scalable and integrated solutions, and guide strategic transformation initiatives across the IT landscape.
You will leverage your extensive experience across various ERP platforms (not limited to SAP), strong architectural design skills, and ability to map both functional and technical layers to make the IT landscape more sustainable.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and maintain ERP roadmaps aligned with enterprise strategy and vendor evolution.
* Lead integration of ERP systems with other enterprise platforms, ensuring interoperability, performance, and security.
* Assess ERP technologies and vendors, identifying opportunities for innovation or simplification.
* Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to translate needs into architectural requirements.
* Ensure compliance with enterprise standards and best practices through architectural governance.
* Proactively identify necessary changes to the application landscape for strategic alignment.
* Create secure, efficient, and adaptable future-state models.
* Stay updated on new standards, technologies, and best practices.
* Act as the liaison between the Architecture Office and functional teams for ERP-related matters.
About You
* Master's degree (civil engineering, commercial engineering, or scientific orientation).
* Minimum 10 years in ERP architecture roles with hands-on experience in multiple ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
* Strong ability to map functional and technical layers, design reference architectures, and model business capabilities.
* Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration.
* Familiarity with the utility/energy sector (asset management, metering, field operations) is a plus.
* TOGAF or equivalent architecture frameworks preferred.
* Ability to create and explain modeling diagrams and functional documentation.
* Mental agility to adapt to new applications and technologies.
* Fluency in French and/or Dutch, with good knowledge of English.
Must-Have Requirements
* Master's degree.
* 10+ years ERP architecture experience.
* Multi-platform ERP expertise (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
* Fluency in French and/or Dutch.
* Good English proficiency.

* Utility/Energy sector experience.
