Devops Automation Engineer As a DevOps Automation engineer, you will work with the latest automation innovations (Ansible/Terraform), server technologies & container technologies. You will get the chance to tinker with our in-house built TurboStack cloud automation platform: This state-of-the-art managed solution, driven by Ansible, constantly evolves and needs further development. Currently, we are explicitly looking for knowledge of AWS and Terraform. Furthermore, you will continuously immerse yourself in cutting-edge technologies in the Linux server field and not shy away from any challenge! As a DevOps Automation Engineer, you will be a member of the system engineer & automation team and obtain an expert role for customers with a Cloud Solutions environment. Furthermore, you can pull projects for customers needing more in-depth expertise and guidance (such as the Flemish Government and various platform builders). Based on the obtained information, you offer quick and customer-focused solutions for different problems. You ensure that the customer remains satisfied by maintaining follow-up and good communication. Based on the follow-up, you also provide optimal functioning of the operational infrastructure. What are your competencies? You have relevant experience with Terraform and/or Ansible & various automation tech Experience/specialization in AWS ( or Azure or GCP or prepared to certify) You go to extremes to get the maximum performance from a system. Tweaking and fine-tuning for hours is second nature! You potentially have experience with programming and/or scripting ( PHP, Python, bash, ) Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and/or other container technologies is a plus. In-depth debugging, offering new techniques, and optimizations is your passion. You have excellent knowledge of Linux ( OS, Nginx, Apache, MySQL, Varnish, Redis, etc.) You are obsessed with the latest tools and ready to test them. You are always aware of the developments in the Open Source community. Our infrastructure mainly consists of Linux. You are familiar with this operating system and wish to specialize in it.
