Overview
Job Description. We interact closely with the hardware team and contribute to the development of the driver stack to access this HW. We are also responsible for the development and test of equipment management functions (pluggable boards, power source units, temperature sensors, fan control, etc.). We work in an agile manner.
Responsibilities and Learning
As part of our team, you will:
* Understand new features, use cases and reflect on possible failure scenarios to improve architecture at the start of development
* Define and discuss test plans for new features including corner cases, stress testing, etc.
* Contribute to building test setups, test execution, bug reproduction and test automation (robot framework)
* Think with the team on how to improve the overall test scope/infrastructure of the equipment domain
* Investigate issues to familiarize yourself with the software, potentially contributing to bug fixing and feature implementation
Key Skills And Experience
* Engineering degree or degree in Computer Science/ Telecommunications/ Electronic (or 5 years of experience)
* Experience with software development
* Knowledge of C or C++ programs
* Experience with working in a Linux environment
* Knowledge of Python scripting
* Eagerness and agility to learn fast and be challenged daily
* Passion for handling complex systems and projects
* Critical and pragmatic mind
* Out-of-the-box thinking
* Fluent in English
