As we continue to expand in German Speaking Europe, we’re looking for a Belgium-based Account Manager to drive growth within our existing customer base.What you’ll doAs an Account Manager focused on expansion, your role is to grow revenue from an existing portfolio of high-potential clients across Europe. You will not be responsible for renewals or day-to-day support—these are handled by our dedicated Renewals, support and Implementation teams.Your core mission is to identify, qualify, and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities, helping our customers unlock new value from the Optimy platform. You will own the full commercial cycle of expansion deals, including discovery, demo, negotiation, and closing.Responsibilities Expansion & GrowthOwn a portfolio of existing customers selected for expansion potentialIdentify new business opportunities within your accounts (e.g., new modules, use cases, departments, or entities)Lead the full sales cycle of expansion deals: from discovery and qualification to demo, proposal, and closingDrive consistent pipeline generation and meet/exceed your quarterly ARR expansion targetCustomer Engagement & Strategic SellingBecome a strategic partner to your customers, with a deep understanding of their structure and objectivesPosition new value through tailored storytelling, ROI discussions, and product demonstrationsNavigate complex buying groups (procurement, CSR, ESG, IT, operations, etc.) with confidence and structure Internal CollaborationCoordinate with the Implementation & Customer Success teams for seamless deliveryShare insights from the field with Product and MarketingContribute to continuous improvement of playbooks and sales enablement contentABOUT YOUBackground3-5+ years of experience in account management or business development in a B2B SaaS environment with complex sales cycles.Demonstrated success managing a customer portfolio and consistently growing revenue through expansionScale-up experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment is a plus.You’re hands-on, ambitious and have experience in a grass-roots business development roleYou have a customer-first mindset and the ability to analyze customer data and identify revenue opportunities.SkillsFamiliarity with HubSpot (CRM), LinkedIn SalesNav and other sales tools is a plusEmpathy and active listening skillsGreat communication and interpersonal skillsClosing skillsLanguage requirements: Fluency in English, German and French is required.Practical InformationHybridYou have an EU citizenship or a valid Belgian work permitStart ASAPOptimy also welcomes applications from contractors and freelancersOUR OFFERA competitive package tailored to your experience — with room to grow as you doA flexible hybrid work model with the possibility to work fully remotely, while staying connected with the team by occasionally visiting our Brussels officeFor Full-Time Employees based in Belgium:Monthly net feesMeal vouchersAnnual eco-vouchersTransportation costs reimbursementHospitalization insurance (DKV)ABOUT USWe believe corporations can be a force for good—and at Optimy, we make that vision a reality.Our mission is to empower corporations to maximize their positive impact while minimizing their operational costs.
