Afarax is looking for a freelance Group Life Insurance Compliance Expert. We need you!
The project:
Our client in the insurance sector, is seeking an experienced Group Life Insurance Compliance Expert to strengthen their team.
Expected role & responsibilities during the mission:
* Description, documentation and analysis of AS IS process (AML, monitoring of UBOs, Finscan/ComplyAdvantage alerts,…)
* Process revision and update of associated documentation based on inconsistencies or weaknesses identified in AS IS process analysis (process flow + procedure to be validate by Life Corp Management and Compliance).
* Document necessary internal control framework where needed, and define monitoring approach to roll-out in BAU.
Part of a taskforce of 2 resources, you will:
* Monitor and coordinate the activity of the taskforce
* Drive the taskforce team (in alignment with Life Corporate Manager) to ensure backlog resorption for regulatory alerts within agreed timeframe.
* Ensure exhaustive feedbacks loops and communication with Compliance team.
* Description and documentation of training for internal staff
* Deliver training to internal staff
* Plan handover of the taskforce’s activities.
Is this you?
* Group Life business in Belgium and associated regulatory framework.
* Tools such as FinScan and / or Comply Advantage (or similar ones)
* Can structure a process and associated procedures.
* Is knowledgeable in identification of process risks (regulatory, operational, compliance, financial,…) and can design appropriate control framework
* Has strong communication skills and is able to coach/support internal resources in training path and ramp-up.
* Can adapt his/her communication depending on counterparties (peers discussion, reporting to Management,…)
* Manage standard MS Office tools
