Senior Functional Analyst / Project Manager (Platform Integration) – Freelance
We are seeking a Senior Functional Analyst / Project Manager to join a large industrial organisation in Liege for a long-term freelance assignment. The consultant will support a platform integration programme.
The client is currently investing in the integration of multiple business platforms and applications to build a future-proof IT landscape. You'll site between the business and IT, combining functional analysis with project management responsibilities.
The assignment focuses on gathering business requirements, defining functional and integration specifications, and coordinating delivery across internal teams and external partners. The overall objective is to ensure good data flows, better processes, and controlled execution their ERP tooling (SAP).
Responsibilities
* Gather, analyse, and document business requirements related to platform and application integration
* Translate business needs into clear functional and integration specifications
* Lead and coordinate platform integration initiatives from scope definition through to go-live
* Manage project planning, milestones, dependencies, risks, and budget
* Act as the main liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors/integrators
* Organise and facilitate workshops, steering committees, and project status meetings
* Ensure alignment between business objectives, functional design, and technical architecture
Profile
* 5+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst, Project Manager, or combined role
* Strong experience in platform, application, or system integration projects
* Fluent in French; knowledge of Dutch is a strong advantage
