Albastar is looking for an OCC DUTY Manager:
MISION
Reporting to the OCC Manger the Duty Manager will perform oversight of daily flight planning, flight watch and flight support. ACMI sales and coordination along with communication with clients and operational disruption management of a fleet of 5 aircraft operating in Europe, North Africa, and Eastern Europe.
Requirements:
Flight dispatcher experience required.
Experience as a Duty manager is preferred but not essential
The successful candidate ideally has a background in OCC/Dispatch/Flight watch in a passenger airline or business operator. Good knowledge of English is a must; Spanish is a plus.
European passport.
OCC awareness and knowledge is required.
Disruption management skills
Skills and acknowledge:
Excellent problem solving skills
Advanced Computer skills and use of IT products in a flight operations environment
Knowledge of airlines OCC roles and responsibilities.
Airport & Air traffic restrictions and knowledge
Eurocontrol regulation and awareness knowledge.
Knowledge of handling agents & airport facilities.
Flight crew FTL awareness preferred
Maintenance awareness with MEL/CDL knowledge
Aircraft Scheduling and Ground operations.
Knowledge of Jeppesen flight Dispatch/Foreflight planning system will be a bonus.
Knowledge of EASA regulations.
To work 24/7 shifts including weekends & holidays
Responsibilities:
• To oversee each shift to increase performance and monitor costs where possible
• To oversee the flight planning and production for the live operation
• Reduce disruption within the flight schedule when operational deviations occur.
• To communicate within all areas of the business when disruption happens.
• Complete daily checks to ensure the safe and reliable dispatch of the aircraft
• Work together with safety and compliance to ensure the safest operation possible
• Complete tasks assigned by OCC Manager
• Assist other areas of OCC when staff shortage occurs.
