In this role, you will take the lead in shaping and driving Data Engineering within the team, setting standards, guiding best practices, and acting as the go-to expert for data architecture and pipeline design. You will cooperate intensively with Business Intelligence Analysts and business stakeholders from all areas (Commercial to Operations). The ability to think along with different stakeholders and being solution-oriented, are key assets within this role. Together with the team, you will aim to increase the level of Data Analytics across the different company areas to achieve a high impact on decision-making, and therefore play a vital role in the future success of the company. /ppKey Responsibilities: /p libLead projects /b: Lead end-to-end data engineering projects, including planning, coordination and execution, to ensure the timely delivery of data solutions. /lilibBuild Data Pipelines /b: Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines that ingest, transform, and store large volumes of data using DataBricks, DBT, Git, and Azure DevOps. /lilibDevelop Data Models /b: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and develop data models that fit within the overall data architecture, ensuring that they effectively support business reporting, analysis, and decision-making processes. /lilibIntegrate Data /b: Perform data integration from a variety of sources (cloud platforms, databases, APIs, etc.). /lilibMaintain and Improve Data Architecture /b: Take responsibility for the continuous maintenance and optimization of the data architecture. Identify opportunities to improve performance, data quality, and efficiency within the architecture. /lilibDocumentation and Governance /b: Maintain thorough documentation of data pipelines, models, ingestion processes, and architectural design. Apply strong data governance practices, implementing frameworks to ensure high data quality, security, and compliance. /lilibImprovement and Innovation /b: Proactively evaluate current processes, identifying opportunities for improvement. Eye for sustainable solutions is key. /liliTeam player and positive influencer with motivational skills. /liliExperience with Agile methodology is considered a plus /liliProficiency in BI tools, dashboard and report design (Spotfire, Tableau, Power BI, etc.) is considered a plus. /liliVery good English verbal and written skills.
