About the Role We are supporting a well-established and fast-growing organization operating in the logistics and supply chain sector, based in the Antwerp region. As part of ongoing expansion and increased activity across Benelux operations, the company is looking to hire a Senior Accountant to reinforce its local finance team. This role offers a hands-on position within a dynamic operational environment, with close interaction between finance and business operations. Key Responsibilities Full responsibility for general ledger accounting for one or more Belgian entities Lead month-end and year-end closings Prepare financial statements in accordance with BE GAAP Manage VAT returns and statutory compliance Act as key contact for external auditors and tax advisors Support budgeting and forecasting in collaboration with the Finance Manager Monitor and improve accounting processes and internal controls Participate in ERP system enhancements and process optimization Provide financial insights to support operational decision-making Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, ideally in logistics, manufacturing, or an industrial environment Strong knowledge of BE GAAP Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Exact) Fluent in Dutch and English (French is a plus) Hands-on, pragmatic, and able to work independently Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail What’s on Offer Competitive salary package with benefits (company car, bonus, meal vouchers, insurance) Stable yet growing organization with strong market position in logistics Direct exposure to operations and business decision-making Opportunity to evolve into Financial Controller or Finance Manager role On-site role within a collaborative and down-to-earth team culture Why This Role?
