Senior SAP Domain Architect – R2R / Q2C / MFP
Overview
A large enterprise transformation program is implementing SAP S/4HANA as a greenfield solution to standardize processes, improve operational efficiency, and enable enterprise-wide digital transformation.
Job Purpose
We are seeking a veteran Senior SAP Domain Architect with 15+ years of hands-on implementation experience to lead the strategic architecture of the Record-to-Report (R2R), Quote-to-Cash (Q2C), and Master File/Finance (MFP) domains. The role focuses on defining the future-state financial architecture on SAP S/4HANA and guiding complex enterprise transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead full lifecycle S/4HANA implementations as Domain Architect and define target architectures aligned with enterprise business strategy.
* Own end-to-end solution design across R2R (FICO, Group Reporting), Q2C (SD, Revenue Accounting), and MFP (Business Partner, FICA).
* Architect integrations between SAP and external systems including SAP C4C, Ariba and other enterprise platforms.
* Apply enterprise architecture governance and modelling practices using tools such as ADOIT or ARIS.
* Facilitate high-level workshops with senior stakeholders in Finance, Procurement and Sales to translate business requirements into architectural roadmaps.
* Guide and influence teams of internal and external SAP consultants on future-state architecture and solution design.
* Support delivery governance and project coordination using tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Xray and SAP Solution Manager.
Mandatory Requirements
* Minimum 15 years of hands-on SAP implementation experience with strong expertise in R2R and Q2C domains.
* Proven experience leading at least one full lifecycle S/4HANA implementation as a Domain Architect.
* Demonstrated experience with SAP Business Partner (BP) and FICA (Contract Accounts Receivable/Payable).
* Advanced experience with enterprise architecture modelling tools such as ADOIT or ARIS.
* Strong functional and configuration knowledge of SAP ECC and S/4HANA FICO and FICA modules.
* Understanding of integrated SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP and PM.
* Experience integrating SAP with external solutions such as SAP C4C and Ariba.
* Proven experience managing architecture discussions with senior business stakeholders.
* Ability to lead solution design discussions and align teams of SAP consultants on target architecture.
* Experience managing or leading financial domain projects fully or partially.
Language Requirements
Fluent English and fluency in either French or Dutch (spoken and written).
Working Model
Hybrid working model with regular on-site presence in Brussels (minimum two days per week).
