Development Engineer - Exploratory Device Processing (Cleanrooms)

The assignment
* Translate device and material concepts into experimental process flows in collaboration with seasoned R&D engineers and researchers.
* Develop and optimize process steps in the cleanroom environment, including thin film deposition, patterning, etching, bonding, and layer characterization.
* Integrate process steps into full device fabrication flows and monitor critical parameters for yield and performance.
* Work hands-on in the lab to execute processing runs, ensuring accuracy, repeatability, and proper documentation.
* Report process progress, results, and issues to project leaders, R&D engineers or researchers in a clear and structured way.
Required knowledge and skills
* Master’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Nanotechnology, or a related field.
* Hands-on experience in cleanroom processing, including one or more of the following: thin film deposition, photolithography, etching, bonding, or microfabrication.
* Good understanding of microfabrication principles and enjoy translating concepts into experimental process flows.
* Organized, result-driven, and able to plan and execute tasks according to project schedules.
* Strong team player, working closely with both engineers and assistants, while taking initiative to solve problems independently.
* Experience within cleanrooms is mandatory. xphnsxz 3 – 6 years of experience within a similar position.
