An international law firm with a strong EMEA footprint is looking for a strategic, proactive Business Development Executive to join its Marketing & BD team. This role supports the firm’s EMEA business development and client relations strategy, partnering closely with lawyers and BD leaders to drive growth, strengthen client engagement, and elevate the firm’s market presence across key European markets. You will report to the Head of Business Development – EMEA, based in Brussels, and collaborate with colleagues across BD, Marketing, and PR. The role can be based in London or Brussels, with hybrid working. Key Responsibilities Business development support Coordinate and support pitches, proposals, client presentations, and RFP responses. Produce relationship‑building and engagement reports to support client meetings, business trips, and pitch activity. Track client development efforts and outcomes in the firm‑wide CRM system. Maintain and leverage experience data for proposals, directory submissions, and website updates. Partner with the events team to deliver client events, including logistics, communications, RSVPs, on‑site support, and post‑event reporting. Marketing & content Draft and develop marketing materials, including website content, newsletters, brochures, and external communications. Analyse content engagement to identify leads and opportunities from campaigns. Contribute to directory and award submissions. Support the client alert process from drafting to distribution and analytics. Maintain and update practice and industry marketing materials. Develop and manage segmented mailing lists for clients and prospects. Other Additional responsibilities as required. Regular in‑office attendance in line with team expectations. What You will Bring Bachelor’s degree. Minimum two years’ experience in professional services marketing; law firm experience highly desirable. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset. High attention to detail, strong work ethic, and service‑oriented approach. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work effectively under pressure. Demonstrated proactivity, creativity, and value‑added thinking. Strong MS Office skills; experience with Salesforce, Pardot/Account Engagement, or LinkedIn is a plus.
