Job Description
We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to assist the Store Manager in managing and overseeing the daily operations of the store, including sales, customer service, operations, administration, communication, marketing, and merchandising.
Sales & Service
1. Assist in tracking, monitoring, and communicating business results.
2. Ensure an elevated level of sales and service is practiced by all associates; lead by example.
3. Ensure all sales-related policies and procedures are maintained.
4. Ensure all associates provide the highest level of customer service.
5. Resolve all client problems and complaints quickly and effectively.
Operations
1. Collaborate with the store manager to ensure all policies and procedures are compliant.
2. Support and assist in staff training in all areas of register usage and maintenance.
3. Understand and properly execute all management register functions.
Merchandising/Visual
1. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of all merchandising and visual directives.
2. Ensure deliveries are processed in a timely manner.
3. Identify and communicate product concerns promptly.
4. Communicate inventory needs to support business goals.
Human Resources
1. Assist in recruitment, training, and staff development.
2. Help ensure the integrity of payroll and the payroll process.
3. Continuously evaluate employee performance and provide feedback.
4. Resolve HR issues timely, partnering with HR when necessary.
5. Ensure professional image and grooming standards are maintained.
Qualifications
* More than 3 years of management experience in the premium/luxury retail industry.
* Passion for fashion and familiarity with current fashion trends.
* Good business sense.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Ability to supervise and motivate a team.
* Willingness to take on challenges.
* Fluency in Dutch.
