We are hiring for a Full-Time Butcher/ Head Butcher position with an annual compensation range of €40,000-50,000 in our Alberta, Canada locations!
Main Job Duties/Responsibilities:
* Cut beef carcass, sides, and quarters.
* Prepare cuts of meat (beef, pork, chicken, lamb).
* Produce fresh sausage.
* Interact with customers to explain various meat cuts and recipes.
* Assist in training and developing butcher apprentices.
* Merchandise products within refrigeration shelving and freezers.
* Champion the Freson Bros. brand and culture.
Qualifications:
* Expertise in traditional butchery.
* 2 years of butchery experience and pass the Freson Bros. Butchery Assessment.
* Ability to relocate to rural Alberta, Canada.
* A passion for the Craft of Butchery.
* Comfortable working during peak food-retail hours.
* Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 kgs.
