This role leads the organisation's marketing strategy, team, and budget to strengthen visibility, partnerships, and impact. The Marketing responsible oversees content creation, press and partner relations, and the development of effective campaigns across all channels.

As the successful Marketing & Communication Manager - NGO - you will have the following responsibilities: Promote and uphold the organisation's vision
Organise and coordinate the communication team's activities, ensuring team members are well trained, motivated, and aligned with objectives
Supervise and manage marketing & Communications tools and platforms
Develop and maintain external relations with partners
Define, plan, and implement an effective marcom strategy
Manage press relations and external communication partners
Mobilise key marketing & communication stakeholders
Create content and oversee the production and distribution of materials across various channels (website, magazine, social media, newsletters, advertising campaigns, etc.)
Manage the marketing budget
Develop partnerships
Monitor marketing and digital trends
Present regular updates on actions undertaken
Produce monthly reporting and performance analysis for the marketing department
As the successful Marketing & Communication Manager, you have the following requirements: At least Bachelor's or Master's degree in marketing, communication, journalism, or equivalent experience
At least 5 to 10 years of professional experience
Passionate about marketing, digital environments, and new technologies
Able to manage projects, budgets, and teams (leadership and teamwork skills)
Strong command of office tools and digital marketing tools (Adobe Suite, video editing software, InDesign, Illustrator, Canva, etc.), web analytics, and marketing techniques
Knowledge of various marketing channels (social media, press relations, advertising, etc.) and how to use them effectively depending on the target audience
Excellent writing skills
Knowledge of CMS platforms such as Drupal or WordPress
Fluent in Dutch & French, with good command of English
Strong analytical skills (ability to collect and interpret data)
Ability to manage, coordinate, and multitask effectively
