GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting into the VP Finance, you will lead the Asia Finance and you are responsible for financial planning, outlook, budgeting and provide financial analysis support to the Asia leadership team to make business decisions to achieve the organization goals and objectives. You will handle special projects which require financial and business analysis for cross-functional team in the region.
Finance
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the financial reporting and analysis function for the Asia region.
Lead the quarterly/monthly outlook and annual business planning process to achieve financial predictability for the business. Identify opportunity and risk and provide financial analysis with highlights, insights, and recommendations to the senior management.
A major contributor to support and manage the strategic planning process to drive the profitable growth for Asia
Provide leadership and coaching to the Asia Finance team.
Lead the financial reporting on the Company's operating regional consolidated financial results, including variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting and capital expenditure.
Manage the analysis of the financial performance against key business metrics and document pertinent financial highlights that will enable management to determine progress against strategic/business plans and budgets.
Act as a primary liaison between Finance, Accounting, Sales, Product Management & Marketing departments to ensure that all key stakeholders use accurate, consistent data, and provide such data and analysis to meet business needs.
Identify and conduct analysis on major financial indicators (i.e. pricing protection, price erosion, contests, marketing, cost downs, etc.) for each product category and to recommend and implement solutions to maximize return on investment.
Establish benchmarking of key performance indicators (GIM, RMA, P&A, Average COGS, Other COGS, Gross Profit, On Hand & Channel Inventory, etc.), against major competitors and industry standards to develop insights and solutions to enhance our future management and performance.
Create financial & economic models including supply & demand curves, price elasticity for key products, return on investment (ROI) tools, product life cycle and retail/distribution deal analysis.
Lead the Oracle or major software implementation and provide training to employee in the Asia region.
Review and provide analysis on any new customers credit limit, contract terms and the impact on overall company cash flow i.e. ROWCE.
Manage the credit control and cash flow management for the region.
Drive weekly 15/5 Meeting for Asia to plan, manage and make visible of run-rate, NPI, opportunities, and risks of business.
Manage assigned task as well as proactively take on ad hoc projects as required in support of business and strategic initiatives.
Education And Experience Requirements
A minimum of seven years' relevant experience in Accounting / Auditing / Finance (including Public Accounting / Auditing experience).
A minimum of five years' experience in consumer electronics industry.
Proven experience and understanding of U.S. GAAP requirements
Commercial experience gained from multinational organization that requires strong communication to their Corporate HQ / parent company.
Proven supervisory Leadership experience of leading team.
Advanced Excel skills and power point skills is required.
Experience using Hyperion, Oracle Financial Modules and Full Vertical system (Sales & Purchase modules) is preferred.
Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills.
Team player who could work independently. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated with strong learning agility.
Prior project management experience is a plus.
Fluency in both spoken and written English and Chinese.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics or relevant disciplines. MBA or CPA is preferred gained from an accredited institution.
