Legal Counsel – Structured & Project Finance (m/f/x) – Brussels

We are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel (m/f/x) with a strong background in corporate finance who is eager to work on complex, high-value deals and play a key role in strategic financing projects.

What you’ll do
* Act as a key legal advisor on complex Specialised Finance & Corporate Lending transactions, often within syndicated structures
* Work on a wide variety of projects, including acquisition finance, export finance, shipping, infrastructure, renewable energy, and real estate finance
* Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documentation (term sheets, credit agreements, security packages, project documents, due diligence reports, etc.)
* Collaborate closely with business teams and risk analysts to ensure the successful execution of transactions
* Monitor and anticipate legal and regulatory developments, translating them into actionable advice
* Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and represent the organization in industry working groups and professional networks
Who you are
* You hold a Master of Law
* You have at least 5 years of experience as a lawyer in financial transactions, either in a law firm or within the financial sector
* You have strong expertise in corporate law, contract law, security interests, and financing structures
* You are French or Dutch native (or equivalent), with a strong command of the other language and English
* You combine analytical strength with a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset
* You are a strong communicator, able to translate complex legal concepts into clear, business-oriented advice
* You are curious, proactive, and enjoy working in a team-driven environment
