Structural Project Engineer - Multidisciplinary Architect & Engineering Firm
You will be joining a well‑established Belgian architectural and engineering practice known for its long‑term client relationships and strong technical reputation. Job Description
* Lead the structural design and analysis of concrete and steel buildings, ensuring technical soundness and compliance with standards.
* Guide and support drafting colleagues in producing structural, formwork and reinforcement drawings.
* Perform thorough checks on plans and calculations before delivery.
* Assist project managers during the execution phase, providing on‑site technical advice when required.
* Mentor and coach a junior structural engineer, helping them grow in the role.
The Successful Applicant
* Holds a Master's or Industrial Engineering degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with relevant experience in building structures.
* Comfortable handling complex structural calculations independently.
* Enjoys collaborating in a multidisciplinary team environment, sharing insights and supporting colleagues.
* Knowledgeable about commonly used design software, especially Scia, and ideally familiar with BIM/Revit workflows.
* Shows initiative, responsibility, and a drive to find practical solutions.
* Open to innovation and continuous improvement while respecting diverse perspectives.
* Dutch speaker, or English speaker that wants to learn Dutch.
* Preferably 5 years of experience in Industrial Construction.
