Context
For one of our key international clients, specialized in the energy sector, we are looking for a Head of Shared Services Center – Finance Transformation to support the transformation of Finance operations across a growing portfolio of international entities.
In a context of accelerated international expansion and diversification of activities, the organization is redesigning its Finance operating model to ensure scalable, efficient, and high-quality service delivery across multiple geographies.
A new international structure is being implemented to harmonize governance, standardize processes, and support both regulated and non-regulated activities.
Mission Objective
As Head of SSC – Accounting & Tax / Transformation Manager, you will play a dual role combining transformation leadership and operational ownership.
In an initial phase (2026), you will lead a major Finance transformation program, including the implementation of a new Target Operating Model and SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
From 2027 onwards, you will take full ownership of the Shared Services Center operations, ensuring performance, compliance, and service excellence across all entities in scope.
Key Responsibilities
Transformation & Project Leadership
Lead the Finance transformation program, including:
* Implementation of the Target Operating Model and service delivery model
* Definition of governance frameworks (SLAs, KPIs, decision rights, escalation paths)
* Change management and adoption across international affiliates
* Act as Finance Project Manager / Business Lead for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud:
* Define roadmap, planning, and key deliverables
* Facilitate cross-functional workshops (Accounting, Tax, Master Data, IT, affiliates)
* Coordinate internal teams and external partners (integrators, consultants)
* Prepare the future SSC organization:
* Processes, roles, interfaces, and BPO model
* Readiness for go-live (planned 01/01/2027)
Accounting & Tax Operational Ownership
* Own end-to-end Accounting & Tax delivery (internal and outsourced)
* Ensure:
* Compliance with local GAAP and IFRS
* Audit readiness
* High-quality financial data
* Compliance with tax obligations (direct & indirect taxes)
* Act as Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Finance operations towards affiliates
SSC & BPO Governance
* Lead and coordinate the internal SSC team
* Manage the centralized BPO model:
* Provider selection and onboarding
* Contract and relationship management
* Monitoring of SLAs, KPIs, costs, and compliance
* Foster a strong service-oriented culture focused on performance and internal customer satisfaction
Process Oversight
Invoice-to-Pay (I2P)
* Process coordination and performance monitoring
* Review and validation of outputs
* Handling escalations and disputes
Order-to-Cash (O2C)
* Coordination of processes
* Oversight of cash collection and application
* Supervision of customer master data
Record-to-Report (R2R)
* Coordination of monthly closing
* Validation of consolidation packages
* Oversight of intercompany, fixed assets, payroll, and project accounting
* Filing of statutory accounts
Tax
* Monitoring of tax compliance
* Validation of tax deliverables
* Coordination with tax experts and future tax leadership
SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud & PSA
* Act as Finance Key User or lead Finance Key Users
* Contribute to:
* Target process design
* Master data governance
* Internal controls
* Reporting
* Project accounting (PSA)
Profile
Experience & Skills
* 10–15 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, or Controlling
* Strong experience in complex international environments
* Proven track record in:
* Shared Services / BPO / outsourcing models
* Finance transformation programs
* ERP implementations (SAP strongly preferred)
* Strong accounting background with solid tax knowledge (compliance)
* International exposure (Middle East / Asia is a strong asset)
