Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and driven QC Manager to lead quality and food safety efforts within a production environment. You will develop and monitor procedures, oversee quality processes, and work closely with multiple departments to ensure products consistently meet the highest standards of quality and food safety.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and maintain quality procedures in close collaboration with the QA team.
* Inspect and approve incoming raw materials and packaging.
* Monitor and test raw materials, packaging, in-process, and finished products; analyze results and take corrective actions when necessary.
* Collect, analyze, and statistically process production data to ensure product quality and drive improvements.
* Oversee calibration and maintenance of measurement equipment and ensure proper documentation.
* Monitor and enforce cleaning, hygiene, and pest control procedures in the production area.
* Prepare and maintain reports on quality objectives and performance.
* Develop, implement, and validate the HACCP plan.
* Lead, coach, and plan the activities of a team of quality staff.
* Organize training programs on hygiene, GMP procedures, and quality awareness for laboratory and production staff.
* Implement and monitor supplier certificates and quality checks for new products or processes.
Candidate Profile
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Process Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar QC or food safety role.
* Strong knowledge of ISO, HACCP, and GMP standards, with the ability to apply them in practice.
* Analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive with strong problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and coaching skills to motivate and guide team members.
* Ability to work effectively in a team and independently, taking responsibility for quality initiatives.
