The Senior AI / ML Functional Analyst acts as the primary interface between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that business needs are correctly translated into functional specifications, metadata models, validation logic, and RAG/LLM interactions.
The role is central to the quality, relevance, and trustworthiness of the AI solution, with a strong focus on user scenarios, prompt design, and output validation.
Responsibilities:
* Collect, analyze, and structure business and user requirements related to AI-driven use cases.
* Define usage scenarios, extraction rules, validation workflows, and expected AI behaviors.
* Design and refine prompts, templates, and interaction strategies for RAG and LLM components.
* Translate business needs into clear functional specifications for AI/ML and engineering teams.
* Validate AI outputs for accuracy, relevance, traceability, sourcing, and consistency.
* Facilitate effective communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.
* Support iterative improvement cycles through testing, feedback, and refinement.
What are we looking for?
* You have
7+ years of experience
in functional analysis, data analysis, or AI/ML-related roles.
* You bring practical experience delivering
GenAI solutions
, including
LLMs
,
RAG pipelines
, or AI copilots.
* You have a strong understanding of
RAG concepts
, application architecture, and data pipelines.
* You possess hands-on experience with
prompt design
and LLM interaction strategies.
* You have solid technical foundations in
Python

SQL
, and document extraction approaches.
* You understand
metadata modeling
and validation logic design.
* You are fluent in
French or Dutch
with good professional proficiency in the other national language.
* You are able to work onsite a minimum of
