Make your mark for patients
We are looking for a Head of Digital Technology Medical who brings curiosity, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for shaping the future to join us in our Digital Technology Patient Evidence team, based in our global headquarters in Brussels, Belgium.
About the role
You will be work in the team that shapes how we use digital solutions to enhance our global medical engagement. In this role, you will lead the (agentic) AI and digital vision for how we interact with medical experts, transforming engagement through intuitive, compliant, and future‐ready technologies. You will oversee the data and technology eco-system that support medical processes worldwide, ensuring they operate smoothly, responsibly, and in alignment with our scientific and medical strategy. You will also guide major digital transformation programs to empower our medical community that prepare scientific evidence for the medicines that we are developing.
Who you'll work with
You will be working in a team that partners closely with global medical scientific teams, the medical operations teams, the clinical evidence teams, the advanced analytics insights teams and cross‐functional colleagues supporting clinical evidence generation and commercial teams. You will collaborate with internal medical leadership and work with trusted external partners who help us deliver large‐scale digital solutions. Together, you will shape an integrated ecosystem that supports medical excellence around the world.
What you'll do
Define a clear digital vision for meaningful medical engagement across global and regional teams
Lead transformation programs that modernize the data and technology landscape supporting medical activities
Ensure responsible, compliant, and efficient data and technology operations of the key medical business processes
Partner with medical, clinical, and operational teams to align strategies and deliver connected solutions
Manage budgets, resources, and partners to deliver impactful digital solutions globally
Ensure digital tools empower strong scientific and clinical communication with Key Opinion Leaders and physicians
Interested? For this role we're looking for the following education, experience and skills
Master's degree and experience working in both technology and/or healthcare environments
At least 7 years of experience leading digital programs and delivering technology projects end‐to‐end
Understanding of regulated digital systems and responsible management of medical data and processes
Ability to explain complex topics in clear and engaging ways for diverse audiences
Strong influencing skills and comfort working across international and multicultural settings
Curiosity and openness to exploring emerging digital technologies and how they can create value
