We’re looking for an experienced AI Coordination & Innovation Consultant to join our client’s strategic transformation environment within the energy sector. In this high-impact role, you will act as the central point of coordination between business stakeholders, IT teams, governance functions, and external technology partners. You will help shape and guide AI-driven initiatives from intake and assessment through governance, prioritization, implementation, and executive reporting.
Role & Responsibilities
* Coordinating AI and innovation initiatives across business, IT, architecture, security, compliance, and external vendors
* Managing AI use case intake, feasibility analysis, prioritization, and preparation for strategic decision‑making
* Assessing emerging AI capabilities, enterprise AI platforms, generative AI solutions, LLM ecosystems, and agentic AI technologies
* Facilitating the setup and governance of AI platforms, data environments, integrations, access management, logging, and compliance controls
* Supporting governance frameworks related to GDPR, NIS2, EU AI Act, security governance, and data governance
* Contributing to business case development by evaluating value, risks, costs, dependencies, maturity, and organizational impact
* Ensuring architectural alignment with enterprise, data, and solution architecture standards
* Reporting progress, risks, dependencies, and recommendations to senior stakeholders and steering committees
* Organizing knowledge sharing, stakeholder alignment, awareness sessions, and AI‑related training initiatives
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Proven experience as a Solution Architect within complex enterprise environments
* Strong experience coordinating AI or innovation initiatives in multi‑stakeholder organizations
* Demonstrated knowledge of GDPR, NIS2, EU AI Act, security governance, and AI compliance requirements
* Hands‑on understanding of security and compliance considerations linked to AI‑enabled platforms and tools
* Solid experience with modeling methodologies and frameworks such as Archimate, TOGAF, UML, and Sparx EA
* Strong knowledge of AI concepts including Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, and agentic AI
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical complexity into clear business‑oriented language
* Proven experience within the Belgian energy market, including market processes and concepts such as MIG/UMIG, DSOs, TSOs, BRPs, metering, market integrations, and flexibility processes
