Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and target potential clients through market research, networking, and strategic outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn).
* Develop and nurture strong relationships with hiring managers, HR professionals, and senior decision-makers.
* Understand client hiring needs and present bespoke recruitment solutions across permanent and contract staffing.
* Negotiate commercial terms and close new client agreements.
* Collaborate closely with the recruitment delivery team to ensure seamless onboarding and successful client delivery.
* Log and manage all business development activity in our CRM system.
* Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity to uncover new business opportunities.
* Consistently meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by management.
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience in business development or sales within the recruitment industry (agency or in-house).
* Solid understanding of recruitment service models (permanent and contract), with a client-focused mindset.
* Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently.
* Strong time management and organisational skills.
* Familiarity with CRM systems and maintaining accurate sales pipelines.
