About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Supply Planner to join a dynamic team and play a key role in optimizing supply and inventory management across the EMEA region. This position is essential in ensuring that product availability meets customer expectations and business goals, while maintaining high service levels and supporting overall supply chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Planning & Strategy
* Lead the creation and execution of strategic supply plans, ensuring alignment with business goals and optimizing processes for maximum efficiency.
* Utilize advanced data analytics to design multi-layered planning solutions that enhance supply chain resilience.
Process Innovation & Continuous Improvement
* Identify new technologies and industry best practices to drive improvements in supply planning and operational efficiency.
* Implement continuous improvements across supply chain functions to enhance performance.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
* Collaborate closely with procurement, operations, and commercial teams to ensure supply planning aligns with organizational objectives.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams to encourage best practice sharing and collaborative problem solving.
Risk Management & Performance Monitoring
* Regularly monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain and inventory management.
* Proactively identify potential risks and devise strategies to mitigate any disruptions in supply or demand.
Operational Support & Allocation Management
* Identify and resolve supply gaps, working with internal teams to develop scenarios and implement corrective actions.
* Lead the allocation process for constrained products, ensuring effective strategy execution with divisional and local teams.
Systems Optimization
* Spearhead system enhancements in planning tools like Oracle and Rapid Response (Kinaxis), working with IT teams to streamline operations.
Your profile
Education
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Additional certifications or post-graduate qualifications in supply planning are a plus.
Experience
* 10+ years of experience in supply planning, particularly within multinational environments.
* Proven experience in managing complex networks and executing supply chain strategies at scale.
Technical Expertise
* Advanced proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, PowerBI, Qlikview).
* Strong understanding of ERP systems, particularly Oracle, and supply chain management tools like ASCP and Rapid Response.
* Familiarity with Lean methodologies (e.g., SIPOC, DMAIC, 5S).
Supply Chain Knowledge
* In-depth knowledge of supply planning concepts such as EOQs, safety stock, lead times, and seasonality indexes.
* Familiarity with planning methodologies such as ATO, MTO, and MTS is highly desirable.
Analytical & Communication Skills
* Strong analytical abilities to manage complex data and distill actionable insights.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
Additional Skills
* Ability to independently resolve complex issues and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Proven track record of working within cross-functional teams and managing data analysis requests of varying scope.
